Job Title: NVH Engineer

Job Location:Remote

Duration: Until December (possible extension)

Description:

• Responsible for establishing NVH enablers required to meet vehicle targets.
• Report status in regular management forums and each program milestone
• Responsible for development of sound package in conventional and hybrid/electrified vehicles, and Integration of vehicle level acoustic treatments
• Participate in packaging meetings and recommend acoustic design best practices.
• Process NVH data, and report findings in a clear and concise manner
• Responsible for scheduling and coordinating NVH benchmarking, standardized testing and target setting.
• Responsible for maintaining program scorecards and detailed recovery plans.

Requirements:

100% REMOTE.

• Min of 5 years of acoustic package development and/or NVH engineering experience
• Working knowledge of NVH analysis Software (i.e. LMS, Head Acoustics, B&K)
• Experience in specifying materials for interior and exterior vehicle acoustic treatments (silencers, dampers, body cavity fillers, and sealing)
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Experience using test techniques including sound transmission loss, absorption, and basic transfer path principles.
• Knowledgeable in CAD, CATIA and/or Teamcenter NX
• ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Engineering, or ABET equivalent.
• Understanding of digital signal processing and sound quality metrics
• Must be organized, motivated, adept with engineering practices.

• Advanced Engineering Degree
• Electrified Vehicle Knowledge / Design Experience
