The Program Management Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as project management SME in the PMO team and support other PMO functions as needed
• Supports Line of Business with planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs, including creation and execution of program plans, scope documents and key milestones
• Collects, measures and analyzes project management data. Identifies, escalates and tracks to closure the project management issues
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
• Supports project management teams with execution of the project releases in a timely and compliant manner
• Directs project management teams utilizing a solid knowledge of the ICG O&T Program and Project Management Procedure, Citi PM tools and other PM guidelines

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience in a PM/PMO role (or similar) in an IT project industry with proven success
• Ability to support multiple work streams and work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Advanced communication, written, presentation and organizational skills is a must
• Ability to effectively work as part of a global diverse team, and also contributing independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is required. Knowledge of Citi PM Tools (incl. PTS 2.0, ServiceNow) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management concepts and Agile technology methodologies
• Ability to analyze data and grasp issues, draw conclusions, and identify trends.

Education:

• PMI certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, CAPM)
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
