Position Summary (Overall purpose and objective of the position):
The PMO Analyst supports the Project Management teams in assuring projects meet organizational goals and requirements according to standardized processes. This role entails tracking and reporting on progress, team allocations, contract service level agreements, and financials. This position requires excellent analytical and problem solving skills and must be proficient with all MS Office applications.
Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain operational reports based on plans, raw data (Defects DB etc.) and resourcing, capacity planning and utilization and work progress
- Participate in departmental strategic and budgetary planning processes; prepares and administers work unit operating budget; provides recommendations on policies and goals desired; and implements new/revised programs according to established guidelines
- Ensure implementation of products and services to customer requirements as well as SLA’s and adjust within project constraints to achieve optimum results – coordinate daily with project teams in the delivery, development, and QA departments
- Establish work programs to assist the project managers, while tracking tasks, schedules, dependencies, risks and costs
- Responsible for project timeline, resources allocation
- Responsible for identifying needs and allocating the appropriate resources in order to meet project deadlines
- Preparations of financial forecasts and plan vs actuals
- Promote efficiency, cost saving and improvement to processes
- Maintain functional relationships with both internal and external business partners to ensure that recommendations and results are comprehensible to management
- Prepare and distribute month end closure reports including invoicing
- Assist in the creation of SOW
- Assist in the creation of pricing for new projects
- Data collection and tracking the progress of projects, presenting the project status/dashboard for the management of the organization. This includes monthly Steering Meeting content for presentation with clients
- Direct and monitor the requirements and progress of various implementation projects
Job Requirements, Education/Certification/License/Training:
- 2- 3 years’ experience in PMO activities such as Planning and Control or Budget management
- Relevant background in Software companies a plus
- Personal skills: independent worker, thinks outside the box, presentable, excellent interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Finance, Software Technology (or related field of study) or equivalent work experience
- Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
- Previous involvement with the creation of work plans, project scopes and capacity planning a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to create and deliver presentations
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, organizing skills
