Job Description
The Opportunity
The Reliability Technician - Pipefitter will be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment used in the facility for daily production. They will ensure safe plant operations and a safe working environment for all employees.
Snapshot Of a Day-in-the-Life
  • Conduct planned preventive & predictive maintenance Work Orders and keep maintenance records and enter required information into SAP.
  • General facilities work in the plant with plumbing repairs to Sinks, Eye Wash Stations, Emergency Safety Showers and drain systems as needed to the Waste Water Plant.
  • Complete Pipe repairs and system maintenance activities (e.g. hot water, brine and cold-water systems running from the tank farm to AI holding tanks).
  • As needed Troubleshoot corrective work repairs and install processing pipework fixes and upgrades to allow efficient repair/replacement to occur.
  • Collaborate with Reliability Peers to ensure that all preventive and predictive routines are completed at predetermined intervals.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematic and drawings to determine work procedures and/or order necessary parts and participate knowledge to plant issues.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain piping systems and various production systems as needed (e.g. vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
  • Assist in planning, organizing of work activities (drawing interpretation, parts preparation) and provide feedback to planners to improve current system of work.
  • Complete Steam pipe upgrades and securing of such systems as required throughout the Facility steam systems.
  • Continually analyze and improve the state of current PMs and corrective work orders by participating in weekly meetings with supervision
  • Actively participate in preventive maintenance WO program on Facility equipment and processing pipe systems daily and provide record keeping of such tasks. Where necessary identify parts required to complete these tasks as follow ups.
What You’ll Bring
  • Certified Steam Fitter/Pipe Fitter (307A)
  • Certified Plumber (306A) desirable
  • Strong SAP-PM Knowledge
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
  • Self-motivated and passionate individual who has a high sense of urgency, thrives with a wide variety of work and can deliver consistent results on multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of vacuum systems, pneumatics and hydraulics
