Welder / Pipefitter Jobs

We are hiring for a company in the Manufacturing setting with an immediate opening for a Welder / Pipefitter in Milton, ON
Start Date: Immediately
Shift: Dayshift
Location: Steeles Ave and Ontario Street
Rate: $58K - 85K (based on experience)
Responsibilities

• Receive and inventory material
• Maintain great customer service
• Mechanically inclined with an ability to confidently use a variety of hand & power tools.
• Welding Cert. an asset
• Able to read & follow fabrication drawings.
• Assemble & install pipes, tubes, fitting & related equipment, according to specifications.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove variety of metal pipes.
• Solder, braze or weld (stick 6013, 7018 or MIG) different types of pipe.

Requirements

• Welding Cert. an asset.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, results oriented, and achieving high levels of individual and team performance
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Good mechanical aptitude, able to operate all necessary tools and equipment
• 2 plus years of experience preferred.
