Job Description

Desired Skills and Experience

-3-5 years embedded testing experience

-Experience with C# programming and Visual Studio

-Experience working within the photonics industry - testing photonics integrated chips

-Some hardware testing experience in lab

-Comfortable with some tools such as optical spectrum, source measures, fiber loss measures, RF measurements, etc

- Knowledge on optical networking, lasers and fiber optics


Day-to-Day

Insight Global is looking to bring on an Embedded Tester for a large semi-conductor company located in Ottawa. The candidate must be comfortable going onsite 4x a week and has both software and hardware testing experience. You should be very comfortable writing automated test scripts using C# with Visual Studios. You will be responsible for some in-lab, hardware testing as well. Any experience working within the photonics industry is a benefit and knowledge on fiber optical cables, RF frequencies, electrical signals/interfaces, etc.
