Patch Manager (3944) Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Patch Management Consultant to help our client implement an Application Patch Management process and tool aligned with existing ITSM processes and leveraging existing tools.

Responsibilities:

• Adhering to the agreed patching schedule and responsibilities
• Complete and agree on the Patch Management process and workflow
• Work with asset management and configuration management teams to:
• Ensure latest patch status information is captured in CMDB
• Work with request management teams to define and implement the service catalogues required to support the patch management process
• Identify and locate the vulnerable servers.
• Lead the continued deployment of the Ivanti Security Controls patch management solution to identified servers, work with client and server owners to resolve technical challenges
• Complete the service management documentation required for Patch Management process and tool implementation
• Support server owners in:
• Enrolling their servers to the application patching schedule by providing training and documentations
• Identify owners of the vulnerable servers.
• Identify other activities and resources required to implement the Patch Management process
• Complete and agree on the RACI chart for Patch Management process

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Patch Management systems and tools
• Experience in managing process implementation and enterprise patch management, preferably in a large complex environment
• Experience and certification in server management, IT Service Management
• Ability to work independently to execute all tasks required with minimum oversight
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
