Job Description

Position: Independent Health Facility (“IHF”) Manager


Salary: $85,000 annually, plus bonus, health benefits, cell phone allowance, mileage reimbursement and three weeks vacation.


Company information: Canadian Teleradiology Services, Inc. is a leading organization committed to providing high-quality medical services to the local community. We operate a network of medical IHFs dedicated to delivering compassionate care, diagnostic imaging, and exceptional patient experiences. As a rapidly expanding organization, we are seeking a skilled and motivated IHF Manager to oversee our x-ray and ultrasound IHF’s in Toronto, Cobourg, and Bellville.

: As the Area Medical IHF Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our medical IHFs. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple IHFs, ensuring that they operate efficiently, maintain compliance with regulations, and deliver outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for improving healthcare services.

You must have a vehicle and be able to spend on average one day per week traveling to our Cobourg and Bellville IHFs.


Location and hours: This position is full time and requires you to work from our head office, with the exception of days that you will be required to work onsite at any of the four locations you will be managing.


Job qualifications: You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. You are willing to learn quickly. You are organized. You have an ability to multi-task. An attention to detail is a must. You must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and able to learn various web applications. You are self-motivated and a problem solver, who displays strong leadership skills. The following skills are assets:

·Bachelor's degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field, or hands on experience.

·Experience in healthcare management, preferably in a IHF or medical setting.

·Understanding or ability to research and learn, healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry trends.

·Track record of achieving operational and financial targets.

·Flexibility to travel between IHF locations within the designated area.


You must be able to drive within the GTA and Southern Ontario, have a G class license and have or have access to a vehicle.


Job Details, Duties and Responsibilities:

·Provide leadership and guidance to IHF staff, including physicians, technologists and administrative personnel, and support staff.

·Ensure smooth IHF operations, including patient scheduling, registration, billing, and insurance processing.

·Implement and maintain IHF policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

·Monitor and improve IHF performance metrics, such as patient satisfaction, appointment wait times, and revenue generation.

·Collaborate with medical professionals to optimize patient care and service delivery.

·Recruit, train, and evaluate IHF staff to maintain a competent and motivated workforce.

·Oversee inventory management, including medical supplies and equipment.

·Manage budgets and financial performance for the assigned IHFs.

·Work with marketing and outreach teams to promote IHF services and increase patient engagement.

·Resolve patient complaints and issues in a professional and empathetic manner.

·Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to implement best practices in IHF operations.
