Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

Part-time academic required to teach CLAS 3382.03/ RELS 3382.03/ PHIL 2382.03: Medieval Islamic, Jewish, and Christian Philosophy Tuesday/Thursday 11:35-12:55, Winter Term (January 2024 – April 2024.) The successful candidate will also be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, and the grading in the course. This position is supervised by the Chair, Department of Classics with Arabic and Religious Studies.

Qualifications/Requirements Of Position

MA in Classics, Philosophy, Theology, or Religious Studies, with preference given to applicants with their PhD. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching medieval philosophy at the university level. A record of research and publications about Medieval Philosophy is an asset.

Salary Range/Pay Rate As per CUPE Collective Agreement
