We streamline procurement through our one-stop e-commerce platform, providing an Indigenous alternative to big-box retailers. We are currently seeking an Order Desk Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and inquiries.
As an Order Desk Specialist at eSupply Canada, you will be responsible for managing customer orders, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Billing and Invoicing: Generate invoices, process payments, and assist with billing-related inquiries.
- Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries, providing product information, order status updates, and resolution to issues.
- Returns and Exchanges: Handle return requests, process exchanges, and manage returns according to company policies.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate order entry and timely fulfillment.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, logistics, and customer support, to meet customer needs effectively.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure product availability.
- Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently through our order management system.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, customer interactions, and related documentation.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, and customer concerns promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements to enhance order desk efficiency and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to problem solve and deal effectively with multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
- Well-developed time management skills working in a fast-paced, results-oriented, dynamic environment; and work confidently under pressure on tight deadlines
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of product offerings and inventory management is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of basic financial accounting and knowledge of QuickBooks Online
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and order management systems
- Proven experience in order desk, customer service, or a related role
- Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in an efficient and organized manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
