ORDER DESK/SHOWROOM SALESPERSON

Position hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM – 5 PM

Our Company

Elegant Flooring is a Halifax-based tile wholesaler that caters to retailers, architects, and designers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Order Desk/ Showroom Salesperson to work from our Bedford Highway Location. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Taking phone and email orders

- Processing counter sales; taking and posting payments

- Filing, scanning documents, and additional clerical tasks as required

- Helping Customers select flooring in the showroom

- Assisting clients in finding a variety of choices to meet their requirements by providing helpful andknowledgeable options

- Redirecting phone inquiries as necessary

- Maintaining showroom order & cleanliness

Skills / Abilities Include

-Having an aptitude for colors and design is a definite asset

-Computer literacy

-Professionalism

-Adaptability and willingness to learn

-Knowledge of the flooring industry as an asset

-Must be Punctual

-Positive and friendly attitude

Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Benefits are available after 3 months.
