Operations Management - Training Internship

CANYON ENTERTAINMENT GROUP

REMOTE POSITION –Operations Management Training Internship: Operations Management Internship: Manage a project and/or help to run operations for:

  • Birthday Club to reward consumers
  • A unique music program for schools
  • Launch and market a new podcast
  • A confidence-building training program for young people
  • A dance/singing training academy
  • Launch and market a new YouTube 'station'
  • Supervise, provide direction and coordinate the work in one of these areas: social media, video editing, graphic design, grant applications, sponsorship outreach, project management tracking, website updates, filming, or other areas (please describe)


Unique Opportunity to Learn New Skills and Gain Experience – Operations Management - Training INTERNSHIP

We are seeking interns for 10 to 40 hours per week. This is an unpaid training internship for College/University credit in the Operations Management Industry (2 to 6 months). We will take your core skills and experience and build some amazing results together!

Tasks may include marketing/promoting, market research, writing, and communication, social media coordination, reaching out and booking appointments with the target audience, coordinating with other team members, and more, all while keeping everything organized through the discipline of project management.

TRAINING INTERNSHIP in the Operations Management Industry for College/University Credit

General Purpose: Preparation of materials and completion of specific projects while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The intern will learn best practices in operations management from experienced staff.

Responsibilities and tasks may include:

  • Coordinating promotion, social media, press, and marketing
  • Understanding all relevant guidelines and industry requirements
  • Conducting research and/or reviewing materials to understand various tools, systems, and processes
  • Planning activities, working with suppliers, organizing deliverables, and coordinating with team members
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures based on current and new methodologies
  • Keeping all constituents informed and up-to-date on all activities
  • Conduct pre- and post-evaluations and report on outcomes
  • Database updates
  • Outreach to prospective partners, clients, staff, educational institutions, government, etc.
  • Writing, editing, and sending communications, project tracking sheets, etc.
  • Research the market, identify opportunities, and generate interest
  • Working with lead generation software

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate should possess:

·College or University degree/candidacy in the fields of operations management, project/product management, marketing, English, or related fields

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic database knowledge

·Strong organizational skills

·This is an unpaid internship to support the individual in obtaining a university/college credit

The majority is remote work; the position can be done from home. When in-person, it is at your option, and COVID guidelines are in place.
