Corus Orthodontists is a dynamic group of practices across North America with over 1000 team members; we are currently 58 practices, operating in over 75 locations (and growing!) in Canada and the United States. About The Role

The Certified Dental Assistant plays a critical role within our practices. You will deliver patient care working both independently and assisting the Orthodontist. We want to invest in YOU and your training. As a newly graduated Certified Dental Assistant, you will be immersed in the orthodontic environment gaining practical training in-direct bonding of fixed orthodontic appliances, attachment placement and delivery of orthodontic aligners, the adjustment of removable appliances, record taking, treatment documentation, sterilization procedures, patient education, laboratory duties, and other miscellaneous and administrative duties.

• You must be able to provide key responsibilities while wearing personal protective equipment such as gown, face shield, and mask

What You Bring - Qualifications:

• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to build strong relationships to build positive rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and community
• Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Certified Dental Assistant
• Willingness to become licensed with CDSBC; completion of orthodontics module
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with dental software systems is an asset to complete tasks such as data entry, patient tracking and imaging
