Job Description

Job Role: M&A Specialist

Job Type : Fulltime (Remote)

Job Location : Dallas TX, / Toronto, Canada


:

  • This role offers the opportunity for enterprise-level impact and exposure to various parts of the business through a range of M&A activities.
  • 5+ years of experience in Merge and Acquisition.
  • 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking.
  • Delving into the details of deal mechanics and post-merger success.
  • The ideal candidate will have transaction execution experience and have demonstrated the ability to influence at the most senior levels of an organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business. Develop and document an “outside-in” understanding of the market landscape, industry trends, competition, whitespace opportunities, target segments, and emerging companies within financial services and investment banking.
  • Perform various valuation methods – comparable companies, precedents, and DCF.
  • Manage all operational tools and key vendors contracts for M&A
  • Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news
  • Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
  • Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising transactions.
  • Depending on deal size and complexity, lead, support, and/or coordinate key aspects of deal sourcing and execution (e.g., due diligence, management meetings, integration planning, valuation/ROI/payback, etc.)
  • Conduct and oversee the preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.
  • Create presentations for client portfolios.
