Aera Medical Specialists Clinic is seeking 1 part-time junior Medical Office Assistant (1-3 years of experience) to join our new clinic which provides care for patients with allergic and respiratory diseases.

We are relatively young physicians just starting our careers, and we are looking for similar medical staff to join our team and grow with us for the long-term. We are offering our potential candidates a chance to be part of our practice from the ground up.

Aera Medical Specialists Clinic is a specialty clinic, and as such we exclusively accept patients by referral only. This means our patient volume is significantly lower than that of a GP or walk-in clinic (10-20 patients per physician per day). Currently, we are a small practice with two full-time physicians, however, we are hoping to expand in the future. We are very passionate about medicine, patient care, and most of all our team and family.

Medical Office Assistant

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure efficient day-to-day functioning of the clinic
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Intake of patient referrals
• Sending out medical communique, including referrals to other physicians, requisitions for investigations
• Managing patients' electronic medical records

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $20.00 per hour
