Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to become a technical lead where you will have a major impact on the direction of the organization and the products they design?

On offer is a Senior position with an exciting start-up where you will be working in a small team of highly skilled engineers, you will be responsible to design an ecofriendly product range which will revolutionize the way people utilize waste.

This is an excellent opportunity to be the technical lead whilst working on bespoke projects where you will be charged with developing innovative solutions for the consumer waste industry. This is a pivotal role where you will be getting involved in conceptual design all the way through to completion.

This is a young company which has recently been heavily funded, they are at the forefront of their industry and looking to triple in headcount over the next year. They are in the process of designing a range of cutting-edge sustainable products which will revolutionize the way people utilize waste. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design on these niche projects.

This role will therefore suit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who has experience designing consumer specific products, has DFM experience (design for manufacturability)and is proficient in Solidworks. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about Mechanical Design and looking to work on exciting new projects for a forward thinking company where they can progress and develop.

The Role:

*Mechanical Design Engineer

*Prepare calculations

*Complete technical drawings

*Working from concept to completion

The Person:

*Mechanical Design Engineer

*DFM experience (design for manufacturability)

*Sheet metal processes understanding

*Proficient in Solidworks

*Plastic and Metal experience
