Job Description


We are currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver/Material Handler to join our team.


Responsibilities


Job Duties


  • Ensure all work is performed according to procedures and work instructions.
  • Communicating with other shippers in department on different shifts.
  • Inventory and cycle counts.
  • General warehouse activities – cleaning and organizing of warehouse.
  • Understand and follow all Health and Safety concerns.
  • Understand, follow, and enforce all Quality System procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain housekeeping at an acceptable and organized level. This includes all workstations, floors, cleaning of tools and equipment, organizing and stacking of material.
  • Receiving of incoming goods.
  • Picking, packaging, wrapping, and strapping of customer orders.
  • Preparation of shipping documents.


Qualifications


  • Possess manual dexterity, ability to lift > 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow workflow and schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills with some data entry experience, use of hand held scanners.
  • Above team average attendance.
  • Forklift experience/license.
  • Experience in packaging, palletizing and skid wrapping.
  • 2-3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Experience


  • Forklift: 1 year (preferred)


License/Certification


  • Forklift License (preferred)
