Material Handler/Shipper Jobs

We are looking for Material Handlers/Shippers in Orangeville area. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and works well under pressure to meet strict deadlines on a daily basis. Candidate needs to be able to pay close attention to detail, and be a team-player.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation of shipping documents
• Inventory and cycle counts
• Communicating with other shippers in department on different shifts
• General warehouse activities – cleaning and organizing of warehouse
• Picking, packaging, wrapping, and strapping of customer orders
• Understand and follow all Health and Safety concerns
• Ensure all work is performed according to procedures and work instructions
• Receiving of incoming goods
• Understand, follow, and enforce all Quality System procedures and work instructions
• Maintain housekeeping at an acceptable and organized level. This includes all workstations, floors, cleaning of tools and equipment, organizing and stacking of material

Qualifications

• Ability to follow workflow and schedules
• Experience in packaging, palletizing and skid wrapping
• Basic computer skills with some data entry experience, use of hand held scanners
• 2-3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing setting
• Possess manual dexterity, ability to lift > 50 lbs
• Forklift experience/license
• Strong attention to detail
• Above team average attendance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 per hour
