Material Handler/ Forklift Jobs

Calling all experienced material handlers!
Can you read blueprints? Are you good at working with your hands? Do you have experience with Computers? Are you detailed and focused? Are you looking for a new ongoing position?
We are currently looking for some legendary assemblers in Cambridge, Ontario.
This is a long-term contract opportunity! Read on if you're interested!
Advantages

• Straight afternoons, 2:30 pm-1 am Monday to Thursday
• $22 - $27/hr (this is dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Carry out mechanical assembly
• Troubleshoot, repair, or modify units and occasionally make design change recommendations
• Communicate with drafting/engineering and other assembly personnel in order to solve issues.
• Plan and carry out assembly work from drawings, pick lists, and bills of material
• Observe safe working practices
• Train and/or assist other employees as required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Previous assembly experience - electric assembly experience preferred
• Basic Computer skills
• Physical Demand Level: Regular lifting of up to 35 lbs
• Forklift license
• Experienced with hand tools and reading plans/blueprints
