Manager Financial Planning And Analysis

As the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a critical role in driving the financial planning and analysis function within our organization. You will be responsible for performing the financial planning, budgeting, financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health and success of the company by being involved in plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and modelling, combined with plant operations and good communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial performance and trends, identify key insights, and provide recommendations to senior management for business improvement.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Work closely with the plant operation team to ensure proper budgets and forecasts
• Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support accurate and timely financial analysis and forecasting.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to enhance financial planning and analysis processes.
• Drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
• Monitor and track financial metrics, comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts, and investigate and explain variances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software.
• In-depth knowledge of financial analysis techniques, financial statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
