Job Description

Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking for a new opportunity to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Accountant - Team Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your accounting expertise while leading and managing a team of talented professionals.


Responsibilities:


Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions

  • Perform month-end and year-end reviews, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Conduct quality control checks to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records
  • Prepare and review working papers for year-end files
  • Monitor and review monthly financial statements, providing insightful analysis and recommendations
  • Lead and mentor a team of intermediate bookkeepers, providing guidance and support in their professional development
  • Collaborate with the Senior Client Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination between teams


Requirements:


  • Proficient in accounting software (Quick books Desktop, Online, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • CPA designation complete or in progress preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
