Position Summary: We are a custom metal fabricator with a small facility requiring a general handy man maintenance worker with good mechanical skills. As long as you are good with your hands and small tools this can easily be done. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment in the plant. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

Perform maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.

Knowledge of machinery, tools and general mechanical skills are all that is needed.

Some welding experience is an asset and good communication skills.

We have custom machines, welding machines, compressors and pneumatic tools.

General scheduled maintenance and repairs as needed along with general maintenance around the facility including furnace filters, lighting, etc.

Self-starter willing to get the job done.

Possible assistance with production may be required to Inspect and test equipment. (Inspects for damage and confirms acceptable results of inspections)

Prepare estimates for repairs and ensure accuracy.

Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment. (Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment)

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements: The position requires a person with a positive attitude, the ability to work independently, strong mechanical aptitude and good electrical aptitude. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience preferred.

Counterbalance forklift license is required along with safety training.

Must be reliable and punctual

Full Time work Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:30Pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
