Position Summary:
As a Logistic and Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and warehouse department. You will lead a team responsible for managing the flow of products, overseeing inventory, and maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in all warehouse activities. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Warehouse Operations: Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices for inventory control.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction within the logistics and warehouse operations.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all warehouse operations to meet customer expectations.
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all team members.
Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Reporting: Generate reports and provide insights to management on warehouse performance, inventory status, and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
