Position Summary


Are you a person who thrives working in a warehouse environment and gets satisfaction knowing that you are getting the right part, at the right time and at the right price to satisfy your internal and external customers? Are you someone who can multi-task, organize and prioritize work activities? Working for the Canadian leader in material handling as a Parts and Warehouse Support you would need to be highly responsive and manage a large volume of requests from our l field technicians, our service shop, sales representative, depots and external customers. You would use your mechanical parts knowledge of forklifts to help source and secure parts for the region and our external customers to keep their stock and equipment running.


How You’ll Make An Impact


Parts and Warehouse Support directly impacts inventory availability, parts flow to the shop and customers for the repair of equipment. Supporting the warehouse and parts departments directly impact our margins and profits and providing parts in a timely and efficient manner as well as providing support to the Shipper Receiver directly impacts our internal and external customers’ productivity and satisfaction with GNJ services.


  • Respond to parts inquiries from customer and technicians on time
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through
  • Any related experience preferably within the material management/auto parts industries
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including conflict resolution skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactive
  • Perform daily and annual parts inventory
  • Support all warehouse requirement when Shipper Receiver is physically remote.
  • Ensure that parts are organized on time, and that inventory is optimal for use in the shop and by Road Service Technicians
  • Prepare BOL and shipping documents for Sales, Rentals, RRL and SSG orders
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel; strong computer and communication skills
  • Excel at building and maintaining long-term relationships with key business partners
  • What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • Maintain various workplace standards
  • Manage the entire administrative portion of tasks such as receiving parts in JDE, entering invoice orders, adding parts to service work orders , applying non-stock parts to work orders, obtaining delivery dates on items, updating the system with backorder dates and inform technicians of back-ordered items from vendors
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Manage the efficiency of shipping and receiving parts to customers, technicians and other branches
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
