Otter Co-op is hiring for a Full Time Liquor Store Associate on the North Shore Side (Tranquille & North Shore) located in Kamloops, BC.

What you’ll do:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards
• Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
• Receive, check, and put away deliveries
• Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
• Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations Management as well as:

• Problem solver and quick learner
• Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand for full 8 hour shift
• MUST have open availability and able to work a variety of shifts that include mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• MUST be over 19 years of age to be considered
• Team player with strong communication skills
• This position is based out of the Tranquille and North Shore Liquor Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
• WSET 1 accreditation (or working toward) a definite asset
• Serving it Right license is required
• Liquor retail experience is preferred
