Job Title: Linux Engineer

Client: Multinational FinTech Firm

Salary: Up to $200,000 Base + Bonus

Location: Montreal (Hybrid)

I'm working with a client looking for an experienced Linux system Engineer who wants the opportunity to work with the most ground-breaking technology in one of the world's most progressive and innovative FinTech Firms.

Responsibilities:

• Automating common tasks and functions to improve efficiency.
• Delivering systems and storage solutions based on Linux requirements.
• Performance monitoring and managing the system capacity.
• Fix and analyse technical incidents, and solve technical ad hoc problems.
• Working as part of a highly performant team solving complex data issues and making deductions which you'll see directly impact the business.

Skills

• Experience with cloud providers like AWS or Azure is a bonus
• Extensive experience working with Linux.
• Experience within a high-performance computing environment where the result matters
• Experienced in automating and solid scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell and/or Python).
• Working knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef, Terraform, or Puppet
