Location: Collège LaSalle Montréal

Schedule: Classes Monday to Friday (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

We are looking for lecturers for our merchandising course. The skills and concepts taught in this program include:

• Advanced knowledge with the adobe suit;
• The branding function and the importance of the visual communication tools.
• Deep understanding for different sales technique and the customer journey;
• Building visual presentation for different retail space;
• The basic rules for successful product presentation on a physical sale point – experience on retail store big asset;

Responsibilities

• Design formative and summative evaluations according to the competency-based approach;
• Plan class sessions;
• Administer and correct evaluations;
• Any other related duties.
• Be available to students in order to promote their development of the competency targeted by the course;
• Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
• Follow-up on each student and encourage success;

Required Qualifications

You must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet one of the following criteria

• Teach or have teaching experience in the discipline for a full semester within the last five (5) years;
• Have practiced a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
• Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college degree, with an option or concentration in the relevant discipline;

Personal And Professional Skills

Classes are offered during the day. We are looking for creative professionals with proven expertise in their field who are willing to pass on their knowledge. Bilingualism and teaching experience are major assets.
