As one of Canada's largest marine engineering integrators, we are looking for talented individuals to bring their skills to Fleetway as we lead the way in Canadian naval defense contracts (In Service Support). Our work is project focused on government ship design, support and training, including warships, ferries, ice-breakers and commercial vessels. We are looking for a qualified Learning Systems and Technology Analyst for our Dartmouth, NS office.
The Learning Systems and Technology Analyst will work within the Training Programs team to support the design and development of learning system architecture and learning content creation.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
  • Provide technical input and support on projects and initiatives requiring programming, content, management, and data reporting expertise.
  • Support the planning and implementation of training methods such as: in-class training, e-learning modules, self-paced online and blended learning.
  • Develop learning policies and standards, while providing technical guidance through recommended best practices.
  • Participate in the planning and enablement of Advance Distributed Learnings, Total Learning Architecture linkages with model-based product support systems and S1000D data standard compliant integrated data environments.
  • Work collaboratively with subject matter experts and project teams
  • Configuration and development of xAPI capabilities for Commercial Off the Shelf systems.
  • Support the design and development of learning system architecture and learning content.
Skill, Capabilities, and Experience:
  • Traning standards such as S1000D, S6000T and S3000L
  • Integrated Data Environments
  • Development tool suites such as: Microsoft DEVOPs, GitHub, Microsoft Office, Adobe systems, Articulate 360
  • 2-5 years' experience in some/all of the following: programming languages such as JSON, XML, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Java, C++,
  • Services architectures such as: REST, Cloud, SOA
  • Project management techniques such as: ADDIE, Agile
  • A diploma with a major in one of the following: computer science, software engineering, engineering graphics, interactive media, gamification/interactivity design for e-learning, education, adult learning or distance learning
  • Learning specifications such as SCORM, xAPI, cmi5
