Lead Producer Jobs

Cloud Chamber is looking for a decisive and effective Producer to provide strong leadership to a globally distributed development team. As a Lead Producer you will be responsible for the smooth delivery and operation of the team’s efforts in delivering a high quality AAA game. You will own the development and optimization of workflows and production processes, lead the project’s strategic planning for external partnerships , and collaborate with the Creative Director to communicate project status, risks, and roadblocks to internal stakeholders and our publisher.

To be successful in this role you should have experience managing the efforts of a large distributed team, be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, and know how to build strong partnerships. Job Details

• Organize planning, feedback sessions, feature breakdowns, estimations and resourcing to ensure project goals are met.
• Manage internal and external functional leads in the development and optimization of workflows and production/tracking processes to increase efficiency and predictability while maintaining a high quality bar.
• Communicate project status, risks, and roadblocks to Creative Director and Publishing leadership across all areas of responsibility.
• Execute on set goals, pivoting when necessary.
• Create and maintain prioritized project schedules, budgets, and documentation at various stages of progress.
• Lead a globally distributed development team across multiple locations and time zones.
• Direct management and mentorship of internal producers with an eye for long term career growth and development.
• Drive delivery of a polished, highly rated game on time and on budget.
• Provide tactical support to ensure that your team is consistently tackling issues, communicating needs and opportunities, and constantly evolving best practices.
• Build and manage relationships with external vendors, including identifying partners, assist in contract negotiations, and establish budgets.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

• Experience running cross-discipline development teams, vendors, and outsourcers.
• Adept at building strong partnerships at all levels of the organization.
• 7+ years of experience working with internal and external development teams in senior or lead production role with increasing leadership/management experience.
• Experience leading successful teams. Leading distributed teams across multiple different time zones is a plus.
• Ability to mediate and drive conflict resolution.
• Mastery of JIRA, Excel, Shotgun, MSProject or equivalent project management software packages.
• Work ethic focused on dynamism and collaboration.
• Motivated and self-driven.
• Collaborative with a team centric mind-set.
• Understand the complexities, requirements, and proven best practices of game development production.
• Deep knowledge of standard game industry development pipelines and technology.
• Ability to effectively and constructively partner with a diverse group of creative and technical personalities.
• Superior organization and time management skills.
• Able to discuss, support, and advocate for your opinions while being receptive to differing viewpoints.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks, set priorities, and problem solve.
