Job Title :Laboratory Technician

Duration :3+ Months with possible extension

Shift Time: 06:30 AM – 4 PM or 7 AM - 03:30 PM dependent on volume

Schedule: Monday - Friday Overtime required (except during training). 1 hour per day, Possible Saturday, Up to 48 hours per week - All depends on Sample load.

JOB PURPOSE

Working in a Seed Quality Testing Laboratory, planting and evaluation of commercial crop seeds including corn and soybean in a timely manner. Ensure data is accurate and entered into system. Perform specialized seed testing and purity analysis. Monitor testing to make certain protocols and steps are followed correctly. Carry out general supporting lab activities. Adhere to lab policies, procedures and standards as directed.

∙ You will be working in the Germination lab.

∙ Planting and evaluating corn & soybean seedlings.

∙ Interested in learning about plants & seeds

∙ Must be able to work in a group setting with solo work. Good communication.
