Job Description

Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Caledon

Shift: 8am - 4pm

6 month contract with possibility of extension


Description:


  • Maintaining proper records for lab process, instrument performance, shipping and receiving, and communicating effectively with both team members and their manager
  • With guidance from supervision, assists technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research.
  • Operating and maintaining equipment to conduct a variety of molecular biology applications such as DNA extraction and PCR analysis and generating quality genotyping data.
  • Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.
