Junior Qa Tester Jobs

MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking aJunior QA Analystfor a 6 month contract role with extension at a client of ours located in Vancouver – Hybrid/Remote

Responsibilities:

·Ensure systems and applications meet quality standards and end user requirements and are free of defects

·Liaise with other team members, end users, and vendors to clarify testing requirements and desired functional outcomes

·Create test scripts for various levels of testing (user acceptance, regression, load, performance, usability), ensuring functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications are met

·Perform test scenarios using an appropriate balance of manual tests and automated tests

·Analyze and troubleshoot problems and document findings

·Document defects in a Bug Tracking System to ensure clear understanding by development staff

·Prepare test progress reports/results, including recommendations or alternatives to address existing and potential trouble areas or defects

·Collaborate with other team members on findings and recommendations

·Contribute to development of release documentation and required training materials

Requirements:

·2+ years of experience in quality assurance testing

·Diploma/degree in computer science or related field

·Knowledge of quality assurance testing practices and procedures

·Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and troubleshoot problems during the testing process, and make related recommendations

·Experience creating test cases based on User Stories

·Extensive communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with others on testing requirements; explain findings and recommendations

·Solid knowledge and experience in using an Agile/Scrum methodology

·Experience and knowledge of Dynamics 365 is preferred

·Knowledge of business acumen to understand business requirements as they pertain to system functionality from a testing perspective

·Planning and coordination skills to create test plans and carry out testing scenarios
