INTRODUCTION:

We're looking for a Jr. QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is remote with a primary location in Vancouver, BC, and reports to the Sr. Manager, QA Engineering.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Writing automation test scripts for our web and mobile applications
• Participate in Agile development, Scrum ceremonies
• Effectively share technical information, and communicate technical issues and solutions to the team
• Collaborate with QA Automation Architect to implement, enhance and maintain test automation frameworks
• Participate in code reviews, work estimation, forecasting and release scheduling

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Comprehensive knowledge of testing web/native applications, test methodologies, and tools
• Possess strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
• 1-2 years of experience

Experience With:

• Defect-tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp
• Version control tools, such as GitHub
• API testing and related tools
• Browser Developer tool
• Working knowledge of UI automation tools, e.g. Webdriver.io, Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
• Console/network logs
• Experience with any scripting language – JavaScript/TypeScript is preferred. We are a #growthMindset company – you must be willing to learn new languages as needed
• Writing automation test scripts for mobile and/or web applications
