The Role:

The primary responsibility of the Junior Data Analyst will be to assist in building our understanding of our customers for our Marketing, Success, Sales, and Product teams. This includes generating insights and creating content based on customer data. The insights derived from data analysis will help identify areas of improvement with the potential to have a significant impact on our customers' bottom line. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be involved in data organization, analytics, and metric tracking while providing accurate solutions.

Your main focus will be to address customer inquiries, develop resources to highlight the value of our products to potential customers, answer questions related to contact strategy and sales, and make necessary changes to our databases for faster access to critical information.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Building the necessary infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources using SQL and Python.
• Utilizing Python and pandas for in-depth analytical investigations.
• Drafting content and communicating results based on the findings.
• Creating graphical representations to summarize the analysis results.
• Gaining understanding of our Data Architecture and the organization of our database data.
• Sharing findings with customers at a detailed level, using tools like Metabase when appropriate.
• Preparing and cleaning data for effective data analysis.
• Performing complex and efficient queries using SQL.

You will be Successful in this Role If You:

• Have experience working with databases – MySQL preferred
• Are data-focused, a quick learner, resourceful, and pride yourself in helping others
• Can bring a positive attitude to all your work
• Understand how to write efficient queries based on database structure and available indexes.
• Understand how to write an ETL in Python and SQL
• Have strong interest and willingness to learn and improve
• Can comfortably work independently in a remote setting
• Possess strong skills in data analytics with NumPy and Pandas in Python

Bonus If:

• You understand Sales, campaigns, and Point of Sale data.
• You have knowledge of data engineering.
• You have experience in data visualization.
• You have worked with project/product management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalents.
