Its wide range of products includes thermal aluminum window and window wall systems, swing doors, sliding balcony doors, steel insulated aluminum framed doors, the Euro Door, an all-aluminum glass balcony door, sliding, awning and casement windows, curtain wall, aluminum architectural railings, and aluminum panel systems.

Our companies are internationally renowned for manufacturing quality aluminum window and door products. We also maintain a network of factory-authorized professional Window and Door installation companies as well as our internally supervised installation services.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a junior process engineer to join our team here at Aluminum Window Designs.

The junior process engineer is going to be a part of the continuous improvement team that is focused on the performance of the process with attention to safety, efficiency, Quality, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production downtime and suggest actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for updating and managing production documents.
• Support the process team on a variety of engagements through preparations of core process deliverables and reports.
• Work collaboratively to apply engineering principles to perform calculations for process design and optimization.
• Able to work both with a team and independently.
• Implement process improvements to reduce production waste.
• Drive continuous improvement, and identify improvement opportunities (cost savings, Quality, productivity, and reliability).
• Responsible for updating and managing production time studies and targets.
• Responsible for maintaining a 5S (Housekeeping).

Qualifications

• Computer literacy utilizing office software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to use and read a stopwatch.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges.
• Education: College Degree or Diploma.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and lean methodologies

Experience:

·Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.
