Qualifications
• Post-Secondary school certificate, diploma or degree in Engineering program or
equivalent experience.
• 5 years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing environment PLC, electrical
and robot experience is a must.
• Automation systems
• SPC, GD&T, metal stampings, die design, machine design
• Self motivated and interpersonal skills
• Problem solving, troubleshooting and decision making skills
• Good analytical skills and good mechanical aptitude
• Mathematics and measuring skills
Confident with PLC programming (Allen Bradly 5000, 500,) HMI’s, Servo
configuration, Barcode Scan, SCADA Transactions, Network configuration, Vison
Systems is a must.
• Labview programing
• CAD competency, reading and understand of drawings and blueprints.
• Read and evaluate product specification and mechanical data.
• Understanding and application of lean principles of: 5’s, Single Minute Exchange
of Die (SMED) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
