The Opportunity

We are looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our Global Consulting Practice. First Derivative work shoulder to shoulder with Tier 1 investment banks, including; Morgan Stanley, UBS, Citigroup, JP Morgan and Credit Suisse to name a few.

Successful candidates will have the chance to partner with our clients, while working on cutting-edge technology on a variety of projects across Front Office, Regulatory Reporting, Trade Reconciliation, Data/ Cloud Migration and more!

We seek technologists who have a hunger to dig deep and get involved in providing first-class solutions to real-world problems.

Must Haves

• Exceptionally strong Java Development skills

• Well versed using Spring Boot, Microservices

• Working knowledge of Java, Spring integration, MVC, Hibernate

• Understand and able to create REST APIs

• Good knowledge and experience with SQL Server

• Working knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, Shell Scripting

• Should be able to create mock data and integrate them

• Confident using Agile methodology source code management GIT SVN etc.

• Must be highly analytical, with clear, concise communication skills

Nice to Have

• Additional skills: Python, MongoDB, Bitbucket (for code repository), Jira
