IT Supply Chain Solution Analyst
Customer: Manufacturing Type of employment: Contract until January 31, 2024 (+ possibility of extension) Hourly rate: Open *depending on experience Location: Montreal, Quebec Environment: Hybrid
Your new business
Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is looking for an IT Supply Chain Solution Analyst to join their team on a hybrid basis.
This role is designed to be part of the newly defined Solutions Management organization within the client’s team. This group consists of functional and technical experts across multiple application portfolios, providing expert support and continuous improvement enabling the organization to maximize the investments in its business technology solutions. We are looking for smart, independent, and motivated individuals who are excited to be part of the client’s exciting growth journey.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and provide functional and technical expertise for the client’s Supply Chain solutions.
● Develop collaborative working relationships with key business partners, solution architects, technology & business teams.
● Own the application lifecycle management (projects, continuous improvement & support as required)
● Work closely with the extended solution delivery team to ensure applications continue to meet current and future functional & technical business needs.
● Assist in the development of functional and application documentation, training materials, standards, and best practices.
● Ownership of Application Runbook, working closely with Solution Architects and Partners
● Acquire & share knowledge of emerging business needs, technology, and solutions to help improve client’s operations.
● Support and optimize organizational change management and technical change control functions.
● Have fun, develop, and position yourself, your team and the client for long term success and growth
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other relevant subject areas
● 5+ years' experience in functional analysis of warehouse management and transportation management systems.
● Ability to effectively collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders and team members.
● Strong teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills
● A desire to learn, and support business operations with new technology and solutions.
● Strong communication & collaboration skills, capable of building relationships across multiple levels of IT, solution partners, and business operations
● Specific experience with SAP Supply Chain modules and applications would be a definite asset.
● Fluent in both English and French is an asset (written and oral English is required)
