About The Team
The Market Risk Management Team is responsible for monitoring market risks for Capital Market assets. We closely collaborate with the investment teams on risk related analysis and research to support the investment activities with a focus on Fixed Income, Equity and Alternative Investments. We also contribute to corporate projects where market risk expertise is required.
About Your Role
As an Intern, Market Risk, you’ll:

• Participate in implementing risk measurement systems by validating the methodologies to be used and proposing relevant solutions
• Provide quantitative research and analysis expertise to the various business units with regards to risk modelling methods
• Evaluate and continually track the market risk of market portfolios by producing and interpreting a suitable risk analysis
• Ensure that documentation of risk measurement procedures and methodologies is up to date

What You’ll Need

• Interest in or progress towards acquiring a professional designation (e.g., CFA, CAIA, PRM, FRM), an asset 
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and PowerBI, an asset
• Knowledge of financial Instruments and risk management methodologies 
• Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum
• Team player and fast learner 
• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree of Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Financial Engineering
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
