Intermediate (C# .Net) Software Developer

ProcomLabs is looking to add a Software Developer II to our team!

In the Lab you will be innovating with creators from coast-to-coast to deliver meaningful, fulfilling work and you will have the latest and greatest technology to do it. We care about the change we create just as much as we care about each other.

The Role

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an agile environment. Your primary focus will be to develop, test, maintain and improve applications. As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for back-end development, creating responsive web applications.

Our Stack

• We are not married to any technology – we develop based on the right tools for the given job, and our deep technical expertise
• Modules are being migrated out of monolith to microservices by following industry best practices
• Our back end is a hybrid of monolith (.NET 4.7) and microservices (.NET 5.0+) based API system. As major version updates are introduced in .NET, we update our services regularly
• Our data store is a combination of Azure Cosmos DB and SQL Server
• We utilize RESTful APIs, Azure Active Directory Authentication, JWT tokens, Microsoft Signalr and Azure CI/CD pipelines
• Our front end is built on Angular
• We make heavy use of serverless cloud architecture. We utilize Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure Service Bus, AWS Cognito and Lambda functions

What You Will Do

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
• Create and maintain documentation for software applications
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team
• Assist in DNA (Design and Architecture) phase of story refinement
• Design and develop software applications based on project requirements
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Complete Stories and tasks with minimal assistance and supervision
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution
• Collaborate with team members to determine optimal solutions for complex problems

What You Will Bring

• Strong proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience with large enterprise applications and distributed systems
• Exposure to HTML, JavaScript, Angular/React
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices
• Solid Experience of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of MS Azure Platform is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Experience working on a product team
• Excellent problem solving and optimization skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study
• 3+ years of experience working with C#, SQL Server, MS Azure platform
