Instructor Specialist in Technical Training (flight simulator)

• This role is for Technical Training and not for pilot training **

We are looking to hire a Technical Training Specialist Instructor who will have the privilege to train our customers on the CAE or other technologies using our tools. You will be asked to share your technical knowledge to ensure flight simulator reliability and operational efficiency.

Our Technical Training team delivers hands-on maintenance training. We facilitate the development of knowledge, competencies and technical skills needed to maintain and troubleshoot software and hardware issues on CAE’s worldwide simulator fleet.

As Technical Training Specialist Instructor, you will have the opportunity to interact and engage with various CAE departments. As the key link between CAE and the customer, you will interact with our customers both Civil and Military, to teach and share your knowledge directly to their technician and engineering teams.

The role we are offering you:

• Using best learning practices, you will prepare and contribute to the continuous development and improvement of training material with evolving CAE technologies in collaboration with multiple stakeholders across CAE.
• You will be part of a dynamic and highly experienced team who strive to provide exceptional learning experiences for all our customers.
• With your technical experience, you will be called upon to facilitate, virtual, classroom or onsite simulator training to our CAE customers.

We are looking for someone who:

• Innate ability to communicate and teach in English and French
• Willing to work on irregular schedules when traveling
• Strong human relations and communications skills
• Relevant experience and knowledge of the aviation and flight simulation
• Available to travel at minimum 50% of the time
• Ease to adapt and learn different types of technology
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in teaching or in communications, technical diploma, or relevant work experience (5 to 8 years) in related work environment
• In accordance with CAE’s Epidemic/Pandemic vaccination policy, as the work to be performed occurs on a customer site where vaccination is required by the Government, there is a condition of employment to be fully vaccinated.
