Innovation Domain Lead Jobs

Adecco is currently recruiting for an Innovation Domain Lead for a 12-month contract opportunity. This role is with our Crown Corporation client based out of Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for one. This role is remote (occasional office visits). The Innovation Domain Lead will have the following responsibilities: Supports the Identification of new domains and opportunity areas for the company with internal and external stakeholders, Creates final collateral presentable to senior executives, Helps generate ground-breaking new concepts in a client-centric manner, collaborating with external partners to develop innovative solutions, Demonstrates experience in identifying and evaluating potential business and product opportunities through activities such as market and economic analysis, primary customer research, monitoring competitor activity and identifying customer needs, Facilitates ideation workshops with senior executives to draw out expertise and couple it with industry research to create strong concepts for further exploration, Conducts primary research and testing to validate product concepts for desirability, viability, and feasibility, Leads and cultivates executive relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring exceptional account management and fostering growth opportunities, Manages multiple concurrent concepts, clients, and projects, utilizing world-class testing methodologies to enable clients to out-innovate their competitors, Supports innovation culture activities such as organizing, planning, and executing for hackathons that will advance domain exploration. The Innovation Domain Lead must meet the following mandatory requirements: Must hold a university degree in a related field, Must have 2-3 years of related work experience, with 2-3 years of experience managing a team or project, Must have 2-3 years demonstrating strong research and analytical skills, Must exhibit strong communication skills and an ability to manage stakeholder relationships, Must have experience with presenting to executives, Must have experience in developing strategic partnerships in a B2B environment, Must have experience and a strong track record in product innovation and strategy, ideally within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, Must have ability to think strategically and creatively, translating innovative ideas into practical and actionable plans, Must have excellent project management skills, with the capability to lead and deliver projects on time and within budget, Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build executive relationships, Must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to a rapidly changing and growing team, Must be self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and can take ownership of initiatives, Must be comfortable conducting primary research and testing to gather insights and validate product concepts, Must have a customer-focused mindset, always seeking to deliver exceptional value, Must be a team player who can quickly establish themselves as a trusted member of the team, to be able to influence without authority and be relied upon to get things done, Must Identifies closely with, and is committed to, the achievement of the Company's vision, mission, and values, Must possesses a strong drive and strategic mindset, demonstrating the ability to analyses intricate problems and translate them into actionable solutions. Excels at implementing these solutions, effectively securing support, funding, and dedication from stakeholders, Must have strong organizational, analytical and customer service skills, Experience with discovering, launching, and leading new ventures or business models is considered an asset.
