Job Description
MiTech Solutions, LLC is an IT services company that provides on-site and virtual technical support services. Our goal is to provide our customers’ IT needs with an efficient and friendly experience. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for IT, are highly driven, and possess great interpersonal skills. MiTech Solutions, LLC would like to partner with you and provide IT support to corporations and small businesses around the DC Metropolitan area. This is an on-call part-time position with the potential of long term placement. IT freelancers are welcomed!
 
Job Responsibilities (Not limited to):
 
Be able to troubleshoot a variety of IT devices and provide user support.
Be able to document services provided for customer and submit sheet to management.
Be able to perform new computer & printer setup
Be able to perform new WiFi connection setup & signal extensions
Be able to perform new phone line setup.
Support for PC / Windows Servers / Printer / Phone Systems / Email or Online Account / WiFi
Be able to provide hardware maintenance
Computer & Printer repair
Network wiring
Hard drive reset
Be able to provide software maintenance
Software updates & tune-ups
Software install/uninstall
Virus cleanup & removal
Data backup & transfer
Qualifications:
 
Have basic IT technician skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact with other techs and users. Have great sense of excellent customer service!
Possess strong time management & analytical skills. Calm when encountering an issue.
Able to follow written & oral instructions. Report regularly to management.
0-2 years of experience in IT or a related field with strong background in operating systems, IT components, hardware/software support, and desktop/laptop.
0-2 years of user support in order to provide efficient one-on-one customer technical training.
Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies.
Ability to trouble shoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
Reliable transportation to travel to and from service calls.
Great documentation skills.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Great awareness of the latest technologies of today’s world.
Flexible scheduling!
PREFERRED (But not required):
 
CompTIA A+ certified.
