Role Overview

Rejuvenation is looking to add an IT Specialist to our clinic in South Calgary, AB! The primary function of the IT Specialist is to provide day-to-day and strategic IT support to the entire organization.

Role Objectives

The IT Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that the IT/IS strategies support the business goals of the organization while always considering the cost benefit of technology investments
• Ongoing evaluation of useful life remaining for all IT equipment; and IT equipment acquisition and activation
• Working with the Executive Team in strategic planning for IT related projects
• IT management and support for a wide variety of hardware and software including:
• Creating and monitoring a secure, proactive technology environment where the information systems are always up to date while avoiding end-of-life, reactive scenarios
• Other duties as required by the Director of Operations
• Providing end user support in a receptive and timely manner through an IT ticket system
• Onboarding and off-boarding of staff and contractors with direction from HR, including setup of credentials, access information, hardware set up, etc
• Contingency planning for power outages, server issues, equipment failure, etc.
• Understanding and ability to provide training, and troubleshooting on multiple platforms used at Rejuvenation
• Full security management of all software applications accounts and computers
• Responding to and managing IT issues
• Providing updates and metrics to the Executive Team as requested
• Creating a stable IT environment and promote a standard of hardware and software used throughout the organization
• Analyzing and developing IT business processes involving operations, security, change management incident response and support
• TV asset management in all clinics
• Server management and maintenance
• Procurement and inventory of technology assets
• Carrying out IT projects at all stages (evaluation, development, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization)
• Working with the Executive Team in discovery of new IT/I.S solutions
• Ensuring proper backups are being completed and Data integrity remains intact
• Troubleshooting with all technology assets
• Reduce fluctuations in IT expenditures through a predictable information systems budget by offering a fixed monthly cost that includes the hours needed for support and maintenance
• Overseeing and implementing all IT needs based on new Clinic builds

Role Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of MS365 functionality and governance, including SharePoint and Teams
• Experience working in a multi-site organization across Canada
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience is required
• Understanding of best cyber-security and internal controls practices and requirements
• Experience in supporting with website design, updates and maintenance, as well as experience with WordPress is considered an asset
• Experience building and maintaining an IT centralized infrastructure
• Strong attention to detail
• Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Available to work Monday ‐ Friday, 8:00am ‐ 4:00pm with evening/weekend project work as required
• Completion of an IT related post-secondary education is considered an advantage
