Industrial Production Supervisor Jobs

They are looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to support the team as they set-up the new line at their chemical manufacturing facility in Grande Prairie. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform team performance reviews and provide recommendations
• Review any near misses, incidents, operating variance or other safety issues
• Ensure team, equipment and materials are utilized efficiently
• Track and monitor all aspects of production – planning, efficiency, targets, safety, inventory levels
• Attend, monitor, lead safety meetings, pre-job and weekly safety meetings, perform drills and publish safety alerts as required
• Initiate planning and execution of the chemical manufacturing processes
• Maintain all appropriate documentation, reporting, safety and ISO Certifications, and employee training
• Check blending, QC process and packaging at the facility

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop relationships across the cross-functional team
• TDG and WHMIS certification is an asset
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• 5+ years experience in industrial manufacturing, ideally with chemical blending
• Able to maintain and calibrate technical equipment
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
