THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Production Coordinator who has the knowledge of the wholesale industry as well as children’s apparel to join our team. The Production Coordinator will primarily be responsible for ensuring the production and quality of goods are produced and delivered on time.


RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Manage the timeline of production approvals process. Fabric, lab dips, strike offs, fits etc..
  • Work in partnership with QA/Testing team to ensure that Risks Assessments processes is well executed on timely manner
  • Take complete ownership of production timeline with factories. Verify and ensure all information (tech files, documents, samples etc.) are sent to factories in a timely manner to avoid production delays
  • Work alongside the Design, Fit, Testing and QA departments to ensure approvals are complete according to the production schedule
  • Follow up & coordinate the production status from VPO to Ship Date of each order with internal cross functional teams and vendors overseas
  • Communicate regularly with agencies & factories to coordinate production process and track delivery status of orders on regular basis ensuring delivery on schedule; booking confirmation, shipment del on time
  • Review testing documents created by QA/Testing dpt. for each VPO to make sure testing timeline is respected for production schedule



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Production certificate (asset) or degree from a Fashion School
  • Creative problem-solving skills is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adept and receptive to new information and systems (ability to learn quickly)
  • 3 years’ experience in apparel industry
  • Understanding of manufacturing process
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel)
  • Complete knowledge of product cycle.; from concept to final production
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Motivated to learn
  • Strong organizational skills
