Job Overview:

As a Host at Relocayt, you will play a crucial role in providing a warm and welcoming experience for international students, visitors, and immigrants in Canada. Your support will begin with pre-departure guidance, extend to airport pickup, and continue with assistance in accommodation, food preferences, obtaining SIN numbers, choosing phone plans, opening bank accounts, finding permanent housing, and even providing support in job searches and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

·Pre-Departure Guidance: Offer guidance and support to guests before their arrival in Canada, addressing any concerns and providing essential information to ensure a smooth transition.

·Airport Pickup: Greet guests upon their arrival at the airport, making them feel welcomed and ensuring a seamless transfer to their accommodation.

·Accommodation Assistance: Assist guests in settling into their temporary accommodation, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

·Food Preferences: Understand and accommodate guests' dietary preferences and restrictions, making recommendations for local cuisine and grocery options.

·Social Insurance Number (SIN) Assistance: Guide guests through the process of obtaining their SIN numbers, an essential requirement for working in Canada.

·Phone Plan Selection: Provide information and recommendations on choosing suitable phone plans and setting up communication services.

·Bank Account Setup: Help guests in opening bank accounts, enabling smooth financial transactions during their stay.

·Permanent Accommodation Support: Assist guests in finding suitable permanent accommodation based on their preferences and requirements.

·Job Search Assistance: Offer guidance and resources for job searches, connecting guests with potential employment opportunities.

·Cultural Integration: Facilitate meaningful cultural exchange, encouraging guests to embrace Canadian culture and traditions.

Compensation:

·Area of Service: Compensation for hosts will be based on the geographical area they are located in, considering the cost of living and local market conditions.

·Experience: Hosts with previous experience in hospitality or customer service may receive higher compensation based on their expertise.

·Exact Match: If a host is an exact match for a guest's preferences and requirements, additional compensation may be provided as a token of appreciation.

Requirements:

·Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or hosting is an advantage, with a demonstrated passion for helping others.

·Cultural Awareness: A keen understanding of different cultures, an appreciation for diversity, and the ability to foster cross-cultural interactions.
