👋 We’re Hiring a Hospitality Project Manager


Location: Hybrid, Canada based (Remote + Toronto + Travel)


Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 CAD (DOE)

The role:


Reporting to the SVP Services, this role will be responsible for working with clients to deliver complex projects in a collaborative, professional and timely manner.


We expect our Hospitality Project Manager to be hands-on and very much part of the team when required and as such a broad breadth of skills and experience will be required to succeed in the role, as well as a working style that is inclusive and non-hierarchical.


The role requires you to work closely with our internal team(s) across timezones, to make sure our customers' experience is at the core of every decision Alliants makes, as well as interfacing directly with customers, maintaining a trust based and transparent relationship, communications and expectation setting.


Some key area’s you’ll be working on:


  • Ability to communicate effectively and transparently to people at all levels of our organisation and our customers.
  • Working with Hotel General Managers, Business Sponsors and senior stakeholders to implement platforms and systems to contracted deadlines.
  • Working with external providers and vendors in a collaborative and proactive manner.
  • Manage project teams both internal and external suppliers
  • End to end responsibility for the set up, delivery and close out of projects within their allocated portfolio, across resourcing, timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to identify new ideas and emerging technologies that could be adopted into Alliants
  • Coordinating deliverables and dependencies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • End to end responsibility for the set up, delivery and close out of projects within their allocated portfolio, across resourcing, timelines and budgets.
  • Proactive resource management and team succession planning to balance customer delivery needs alongside the need to allow our technical resources to grow and have a diverse workload.
  • Managing resources and plans to ensure high quality, on time, on budget, delivery.


Important to have:


  • Senior level stakeholder management and excellent organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of PCI / GDPR and data security, adopting this knowledge during project implementation.
  • Awareness of back-of-house IT systems including telephony, TV systems, IPTV, Wi-Fi, AV, CCTV, display screens.
  • Ability to chair, facilitate and lead meetings, workshops and structured to achieve project requirements.
  • Experience of hotel back office systems including Property Management Systems (PMS), Interfaces, Revenue systems, F&B POS, Payment Systems.
  • Experience of delivering hotel IT projects including PMS, Interfaces, Revenue systems, HR, Finance, payment gateways, Food & Beverage, websites, digital & Customer experience.
  • Experience of using structured project management methodologies and running projects in a hotel environment.
