We are hiring technicians based in our Calgary facility, reporting directly to the Service Supervisor, the Journeyperson HET will be responsible for trouble shooting and overseeing repairs of Caterpillar equipment. These are FULL-TIME PERMANENT positions on a continuous 7X7 shift.
:

• Various related duties as required
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
• Interface with customers, products and sales support
• Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
• Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
• Working with the Supervisor on various tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Heavy Duty Technician
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
• Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
• Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
• Experience with Lawson, SIS (Service Information System) and warranty systems considered assets
• Dedication to safety

• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
• This position is based out of our Calgary facility, based on a 7x7 continuous shift
• A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
• Hourly rate: $48.63 - $51.16 / hour
