About The Opportunity
The Health Support Aide has an important role within the health care team and is responsible for helping with daily routines of care and to support patients/clients with activities of daily living. The role may include: the provision of basic care, specimen collection and other support functions under the guidance and direction of licensed health care professional.

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Relevant first aid, first responder training i.e. St. John Ambulance course, HS lifeguard certificate, an asset
- Any previous related experience or related education would be an asset
- Current BCLS within two years of hire
- Knowledge of infection control procedures an asset
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with patients/clients, hospital staff, public and referral sources
- Grade 12
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention

- Casual opportunity; no guaranteed hours
